Mission: S2:1: Into The Drowning Deeps
Location: Canopus Station, Counselor Paulsen's Office
Timeline: MD 2 : 12.05

Aimee found that she was thirsty following her latest appointment. Luckily for her the Lieutenant that had come to visit her was a regular visitor and thus no longer questioned her appearance. It was a culture shock for some she supposed as Aimee walked from one end of her office to the other, "Where is my stool?" She asked herself while tapping the base of her chine. Then she saw it and went over to pick it up. It only took Aimee a moment to cross the office back to the replicator and sit the stool onto the deck.

"Ice water two degrees Celsius." She requested and grabbed the small glass out. Aimee took a sip and returned to her sofa when she heard a loud noise. Something was coming down the Jefferies Tubes from the sounds of things. "Computer what is that noise?" She asked as she leaned forward and placed the glass down on her coffee table. Aimee jumped up and went towards the noise.

"Nice," Aimee said out loud.

The noise got louder and closer and the sound of heavy breathing seemed to come from a nearby access hatch normally used for maintenance of the replicator. Then the hatch burst open and a dirty, wild eyed and wild Elf from myth came out with her white hair in disarray, her aqua blue eyes looking everywhere, and the visible panting of her ribs through her command red uniform.

Aimee about had a heart attack right then and there as the uniformed officer came scurrying out of the Jefferies Tube. She jumped back, having thankfully left her glass of water on the table, and glared down at the Elf looking woman that was breathing heavily. "What the hell?" She asked in a high pitched voice. The fact that the most girlish sounding tone had just come out of her was moot and she proceeded to ignore it while her own breathing relaxed.

Once she had regained her faculties Aimee lowered her arms, took a step forward, and knelt beside the woman that had just made an uninvited appearance in her office. "Are you all right?" She asked and placed a gentle hand on the woman's back.

Sharona was still trying to get her bearings and looked behind her, then when she felt a hand on her shoulder, she screamed and jerked back, smacked the back of her on the top edge of the access hatch. Her eyes rolled up on the back of her head and she fell forward like she had been poleaxed.

Aimee cringed when she saw the woman's reaction and even looked down through the Jefferies Tube, but saw nothing there. Aimee took a moment to look the woman over, though she was no Doctor, and found that this was a Senior Chief she was dealing with. Aimee didn't recognize her though and was nearly in a state of panic. Most of the time she would have hit the communicator and called for a medic to come find them and help this woman out.

The Counselor could see that the woman was breathing and instead of shaking the woman, checking the woman for injuries, or even contacting medical Aimee ran over to her coffee table. She grabbed the ice cold water, ran back to Sharona, and splashed her in the face with it, "Wake up!" She demanded in a girlish voice. Aimee was clearly not thinking straight...

The Selelvian shuddered and cringed, then jerked upright, her hair now wet and her eyes just as wild. "Where is he?!" she screamed while trying to look in all directions. She spotted the child and saw the glass in her hand, then looked again. "You! Go stop him!"

Aimee had realized what she had done after she had done it and placed the now empty glass on the deck. "Computer replicate a towel!" She demanded and heard the replicator activate behind her. With a quickness the girl had grabbed the towel out of the replicator and came back. She dropped it on the woman's lap so she could wipe the cool water off. "Where is who?" She asked and looked around again, "There's nobody else here other than us..." Her voice trailed away.

"Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions, who else?" Sharona asked as if it were obvious. She grabbed the towel, turned and tried to put it in place over the open access hatch.

Aimee scratched the back of her head, "Who in the hell is Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions?" She asked and realized that it was a mouthful to say. And, her Counselor training had finally started to kick in. This woman had obviously been attacked, but by who was the question. Aimee was beginning to wonder if this woman was mentally okay. "There's nobody in the Jefferies Tube and you're in the Counselor's Office." She said next.

"Are you going to say you don't know and or work for Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions?" Sharona asked skeptical before she gave up with the towel and wrapped it around her aching head. Then she grabbed the access panel hatch and slammed it back in place.

Aimee had stopped scratching the back of her head, "I am saying I don't know who Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions is... I am not working for Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions... Nor have I ever worked for Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions." She said while still wondering who this person was and why they had such a long name and set of titles.

"Good, because you'd be sorry if you did," the Elf told her before she grabbed a chair and slammed it against the office door, then started grabbing everything else that wasn't nailed down. "Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions is a love starved apparently immortal maniac that had a spatula buried in his chest when he came in talking horrors about the atrocities he's committed on his world to his mother and others."

She moved out of the way and watched as this woman began rearranging her furnishings in such a manner as to block off the door to her office. "And, you think this Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions is going to be stopped by my furniture? What if Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions tries to come through there?" She asked and shifted so that now Aimee was pointing towards the Jefferies tube.

"And, if he's immortal how does he have a mother?" Aimee asked ignoring the fact that she thought immortality was impossible.

"Because apparently, Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions's mother is immortal, too," Sharona said before she looked in horror at the Jeffries Tube access patch. "If Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions comes through that hatch, I am going to throw you in front of Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions and tear a hole through the wall."

"I have the body of a thirteen-year-old girl how could I possibly hold back Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions?" Aimee asked, "And, if he comes through the Jefferies tube how are you going to escape with the door covered?" Aimee approached the open jefferies tube and looked down it again.

"I don't even see this Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions," Aimee commented next.

"Thirteen or three hundred, I don't care, but if Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions comes in this office, you will meet him face to face and I will not feel sorry if Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions turns his attention to you. For all I know, Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions may enjoy having a child thrown at him and think it's a game. Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions is insane, or did you miss that part?" Sharona asked as she went to the replicator. "Bricks of duranium, please. One cubic foot."

"I am the Chief Counselor of the station not a child," She said despite her appearance, "I would also be mortified if Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions enjoyed having me thrown at him. I would be further mortified if Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions thought it was a game to have any child thrown at him," Aimee said next.

"And, rearranging the furniture of the Counselor and replicating bricks of duranium isn't insane?" She asked under her breath with her hands on her hips, "I still don't see Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions coming..." She said a bit louder and looked down the access hatch again.

Sharona began grabbing the bricks of duranium and started stacking them against the access hatch. "I don't know what Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions likes or doesn't like."

"I don't think Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions knows what Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions likes and doesn't like, either, and I don't care. Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions has claimed he's in love with me and I cannot have that."

"Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions is a raving maniac and if Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions comes through that office, hatch, or anywhere else, Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions will discover that I can and will die of fright."

Aimee was concerned for this woman and had even begun to doubt that this Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions truly existed. But, she wasn't about to question that, "Have you tried contacting security on Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions?" She asked while also wondering how long it was going to take to get her office back in order.

"I doubt Security could stop Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions," Sharona said as she finished replicating bricks and stacking them in front of the access hatch. "Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions would probably absorb their phaser fire and tell them how annoying they are. Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions is just that kind of person."

Aimee sighed, "So what would you like to do now while we wait for Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions to try to get through all of this? Also, if Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions can absorb phaser fire are you sure all of my furnishings and the bricks of duranium are going to stop Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions from getting in here?" She had, once more, crossed her arms though this time she had shifted her weight off to one side.

"I said it wouldn't kill Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions, but it will sure as hell stop Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions. We have food, drinks and we can...I don't know. Use the corner for a bathroom until either help or Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions arrives."

Aimee nodded her head slowly as the realization dawned on her that Sharona had clearly lost control of her faculties. She stood there staring at the other woman for a long period of time and said nothing further, though she did wonder as to how long she was going to be stuck in her office. Aimee made a few mental notes about clearing her calendar of appointments to work very closely with Sharona after her encounter with Bar'soon'fo'da'gree'nars, Third of his Title, holder of the lightning throne, guardian of the sacred skulls of Antiok and ruler of the world of Shishimi and all its celestial companions.
